What is Insights as a service (IAAS)?
Insights as a service is ENQOA's subscription model for senior consumer insight. A senior insight lead at Consumer Insight Director level joins your team on site for a fixed number of hours per week, turns concept, price and customer experience questions into clear recommendations, and brings in senior support, specialists and leading research panels when needed. You pay a fixed monthly fee and can change level or stop with two months' notice.
What does Insights as a service cost?
Three levels, all excluding VAT: Focus at 8 hours a week for SEK 39 000 per month (about €3 500), Partner at 16 hours a week for SEK 69 000 (about €6 150), and Full team at 40 hours a week for SEK 140 000 (about €12 500). The more hours, the lower the hourly rate, from approximately SEK 1 125 down to SEK 810 per hour. Tools and methodology are included.
Is fieldwork included in the fee?
Tools and methodology are included. Fieldwork with non-customers, such as a quantitative survey on an external panel, is added only when a question needs it, from approximately SEK 40 000 (about €3 600) for a 7-minute survey with 1 000 respondents. Research among your own customers can often be run without extra fieldwork cost.
How does the notice period work?
Two months' notice, always, at every level. You can also move between Focus, Partner and Full team as your need changes, so you scale up for a busy season and down when it is quiet instead of carrying a fixed salary all year.
Which level should we start with?
Most organisations start with Partner, 16 hours a week: two days with your team and room for a steady flow of concept, price and CX questions. Focus, one day a week, suits a single category or team with one or two priority questions. Full team replaces a full-time insight lead and covers several categories, markets or teams.
Why not just hire an in-house insight lead?
Because the need for insight moves over the year while a permanent hire is a fixed cost with employment risk. An in-house lead also tends to get swallowed by one or two projects, stays with one methodology and set of suppliers, and finds it hard to challenge internal politics. The trade-off is deep company knowledge and long-term ownership of trackers, which is why IAAS is documented and handed over throughout.
Who is the insight lead?
Jens Ammitzböll, with more than 20 years of consumer insight on the client and agency side at Kantar, Euromonitor, Great Works and IBM. He works on site as part of your team and is backed by ENQOA's senior network and specialists.
How are NDA, rights and GDPR handled?
In a complete and transparent process from day one: a non-disclosure agreement, clear ownership of all insights and data produced for you, and GDPR-compliant handling of respondent and customer data throughout fieldwork and analysis.
